I spent most of my life being overweight but reached a point about two years ago when I decided I needed to make some drastic changes to my life. Through a lot of hard work and determination I lost 100 pounds and reached my goal weight in just under a year with diet and exercise. I have done (and continue to do) a great deal of research regarding health, exercise, and nutrition so I wanted to share some of what I learned in hopes that others who are tired of struggling with their weight may benefit from some of the information I have gathered.
I currently work full time in the legal field and, like many others, I spend the majority of my day sitting down in front of a computer. When I'm not working I enjoy being outside and taking advantage of the wonderful things Portland, OR has to offer. I like to blend my love of the outdoors with my exercise whenever possible.
I also hope to share some fun recipes I have invented/modified to be more healthy. Please feel free to leave comments, suggestions, or any other feedback you wish. If you have questions I will do my best to answer!
